Does UV kill viruses?+
Yes. UV-C light destroys bacteria, viruses, and protozoa by breaking their DNA so they can't reproduce.
Does it change taste or color?+
No. UV only breaks pathogen DNA, water chemistry, taste, and color are untouched.
How is the LED UVPro different from traditional UV?+
Traditional UV uses mercury bulbs that need annual replacement and pose a breakage risk. The Kenai UVPro uses UVC LEDs, no mercury, instant-on, and 5,000+ hours of service life.
